Airtronics ‘Aquila' ~ Laser-cut Rib Sets

These ribs are for the famous 1970's Airtronics Aquila 100” span all-wood standard class glider and the plans were published in the May 1975 issue of R/C Modeler magazine when the Aquila first appeared,

The box contains the following 58 laser-cut parts

  • 44 Wing ribs in 1.5mm balsa and 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • 8 Dihedral braces in 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • 6 assorted fuselage formers in ply and balsa

  • Root joint ribs are 3x laminated in 1.5mm balsa (normal 3/16” part)

  • Ribs are cut with servo cable holes and elsewhere with small 'vent' holes to alleviate the 'ballooning' issue when film covering.

  • Building instructions can be emailed upon request.

  • No building plan is included - this is not a full kit.
