Schleicher ‘ASK-18’ 2.4m Scale Glider Laser-cut Part Kit

Note: This set is not a complete kit. A plan is not included, and additional materials are required to complete the model.

This is a particularly nice set of parts for this classic scale glider, which I enjoy producing!

Model Specification:

  • Type:                        RC Scale Glider 1:6.6 scale.  3/4 channel

  • Wing span:              2.4m       95”

The box contains the following 96 laser-cut parts

  • 44 Wing ribs in 1.5mm balsa and 3.0 mm balsa

  • 33 Horizontal & vertical stab ribs cut in 1.5mm balsa

  • Ribs are also cut with small 'vent' holes to alleviate the 'ballooning' issue when film covering.

  • 7 fuselage Formers laster-cut in 3.0mm balsa

  • 12  fuselage Formers laster-cut in 3.0mm lite ply

  • No building plan is included - this is not a full kit.
