Barnstormer Baby ~ Laser-cut Rib Set

Note: This is not a complete kit. A plan is not included, and additional materials are required to complete the model.

The original 52-inch Barnstormer design was published in RCME 1969. This here is a later, smaller version at 39 in span.

We particularly like the appearance and flying characteristics of a specific model design

Model specification:

What's in the box: (40 quality laser-cut parts)

  • 24 wing Ribs cut in quality 1.5mm & 3mm balsa

  • 2 wing tips cut in quality 1.5mm balsa

  • 5 fuselage formers cut in 3mm Balsa

  • 4 wing ribs cut in 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • 2 Dihedral brace cut in 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • 3 fuselage formers cut in 3mm lite ply

  • Ribs are cut with a small 'vent' hole to alleviate the 'ballooning' issue when covering in film.

  • No plan included. This is not a complete kit
