'Bird of Time' Laser-cut Rib Set

Bird of Time, the quintessential thermal soarer by Dave Thornburg, is the one most glider pilots always wanted to build but never did!

The box contains the following 47 laser-cut parts

  • 42 Wing ribs cut in hand selected 1.5mm & 3.0mm balsa

          (for clarity, the picture shows ribs/parts for one wing only)

  • 4 dihedral braces in 3mm ply.

  • Ply root caps in 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • Root ribs are left uncut/marked to allow the builder to install their preferred wing joiners.

  • Leading edge shape gauges cut in 1.5mm aircraft ply.

  • No building plan is included - this is not a full kit.
