KK Cub - Laser-cut Rib & Parts Set

This is Not a full kit, no plan is included and additional materials will be required to finish the model.

KK Cub. 20-inch span model can be built either as a towline glider or for Jetex 50 power. The Cub is particularly suited for beginners, as it has simple and conventional construction. Straightforward construction with quality laser-cut parts for all primary shaped parts, to aid accurate and speedy building, making an ideal beginner's flying model. The cub can be built as a tow line glider or easily modified by the more experienced builder, to take a lightweight electric motor and 3-channel R/C equipment for indoor or light weather outdoor flying.

The only difference between the Jetex and the glider versions is the fuselage - the wings, tailplane and fin being identical.

  • 2 x ply wing braces laser-cut in 1.5 aircraft ply

  • 4 Fuselage formers cut in 1.5 balsa (laminated to achieve 2.4mm thickness)

  • 5 fuselage formers cut in 1.5mm balsa

  • 5 x nose block formers

  • 1 x fin cut with cross grain support cut in 1.5mm balsa 

  • No building plan is included. This is not a complete kit
