 'Mini Tyro' ~ Laser-cut Rib Set

Since the introduction of the original Tyro in 1966 many modellers have cut their R/C teeth on this design. Here we have the junior version, originally designed for single channel rc which retains the easy building and flying ability of its larger brother, but will take the modern sub-miniature equipment with ease.

  • 26 wing Ribs cut in quality 1.5mm balsa

  • 2 Dihedral brace cut in 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • 2 fuselage formers cut in 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • Ribs are cut with a small 'vent' hole to alleviate the 'ballooning' issue when covering in film.

  • Root and inner ribs are laminated from 1.5mm balsa to save cutting/handling costs.

  • No plan included. This is not a complete kit
