‘Olympic 650' Laser-cut Part Kit
The Olympic 650 is a high-performance sailplane featuring easy assembly and convenient size. The design was developed with the novice in mind, with a simple-to-build and rugged structure and forgiving characteristics. The Olympic 650 is quite stable and is recommended for those with no experience with R/C models. This was kitted by Airtronics - the plan was also available from Radio Control Modeler in the US.

The box contains the following 59 laser-cut parts
50 Wing ribs in hand-selected 2.4/3.0mm balsa
4 fuselage formers cut in 1.5mm aircraft ply
5 assorted wing parts cut in 3.0mm lite ply
Wing joint ribs are laminated from 2 x 3,0mm ribs rather than the original 1/4”.
