Vic Smeed "Pulstar” ~ Laser-cut Parts set

Here's a quickly-built miniature which takes up no room in the car, costs very little in time or cash, but is capable of providing enormous fun. It can be flown with certain types of lightweight radio or as a free-flight model.

Model Specification:

  • Brand:                          Aeromodeller designed by Vic Smeed (1984)

The box contains a set of the following 21 laser-cut parts

  • 7 Wing ribs cut from hand-selected 3.0mm balsa

  • Wing ribs are in 2.4mm balsa instead of the original 1/16” as space was available on some 2.4mm sheets.

  • 1 tailplane cut from hand-selected 3.0mm balsa

  • 1 Fin & 1 Gusset cut from hand-selected 3.0mm balsa

  • 6 fuselage parts cut in 2.4mm balsa box 

    rather than the solid 1/2” sheet original (the sides are joined by a jigsaw joint)

  • There is sufficient cross-grain balsa left on the 2.4mm sheets to complete the fuselage top/bottoms.

  • 5 braces cut 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • No plan is included. This is not a complete kit.
