'Osprey 100' model glider ~ Laser-cut Rib Set
The Osprey 100 is a high-performance standard-class glider developed in the late 1980s from the already well-known 64-inch Osprey by Sailplanes International. Designed for rudder and elevator controls, the plans also include provision for ballast and spoilers.
The Osprey is very forgiving and is suitable for thermal soaring, cross-country competitions, and general sport flying. Being robust, it will take a fair amount of punishment. And it is this 'designed-in' strength, and suitability for varied tasks, that will make Osprey 100 a great all-time favourite!

The box contains the following 60 laser-cut parts
50 wing ribs cut in 1.5 & 2.4mm balsa (2 spare ribs FOC!)
2 root ribs cut 1.5mm Aircraft ply
8 joiner tube root ribs cut 3.0mm lite ply. Note these ribs replace ply/balsa laminated ribs as detailed on the plan!
Ribs are also cut with small 'vent' holes to alleviate the 'ballooning' issue when film covering.
No building plan is included - this is not a full kit.
