Sig Wonder 150% - Laser-cut Rib set

Note: This set is not a complete kit. A plan is not included, and additional materials are required to complete the model.

This is not to be confused with the complete Branded kit and is readily available. These laser-cut parts are after-market replicas of the original design scaled at 150%. This fast adrenaline-packed RC sports model wont disappoint and is for experienced pilots!

Please note: While the original SIG kit included these tabs (see attached cross-section sketch), many builders actually prefer to omit them.

Instead, they use a simple jigging method that avoids the extra work of cutting & sanding tabs off after assembly.

A common and effective approach is to pin a straight strip of balsa directly to the building board to support each rib at the correct height and location.  For this particular parallel-chord wing, a strip of 6mm balsa x 13.0 mm wide with a small angle applied works perfectly at the TE. This strip supports the ribs in place during construction and ensures the wing remains true.
