Skyhawk ~ Fuselage full kit

This kit contains all parts required to build the fuselage and tail assemblies.. Building instructions for the fuselage and tail are provided by email. 

Please state which options you require:

Fuselage design: 

  1. Skyhawk F5L Standard for 34-35mm Spinner

  2. Skyhawk F5L Pro for 28-30mm Spinner 

  3. Skyhawk F3L glider version

Tail version:

  1. Cross tail

  2. V-Tail

What is inside the 85x14x6cm box:

  • A total of 83 laser-cut parts

  • 2 x fuselage sides cut in 3 mm liteply

  • 9 x Fuselage top & bottom cross grain 3mm balsa

  • 9 fuselage formers cut in 3 mm liteply

  • Motor bulkheads provided - Please state which size

  • 2-part servo tray cut in 3 mm liteply

  • 3 x wing retaining plates cut in 3 mm liteply

  • 2 x canopy support bars

  • Triangular balsa strip

  • 12 x balsa formers to produce conical pod boom interface

  • A fuselage jig is provided to ensure everything is bonded square!

  • Cross-tail & fin/rudder cut in 4.75 mm balsa - Please state which version you require

  • Fin joiners - 3mm aluminium tube and 2mm carbon rod

  • Tailplane platform parts 

  • Tailplane platform drill jig (for producing slots/holes in the boom accurately)

  • Tailplane/rudder control horns cut from 1.5 mm premium laser ply

  • Carbon boom 800mm long

  • Control push rod set

  • Wing & tail retaining nuts & bolts

  • Building guidelines are included via email

What you will need in addition to complete the Fuselage/tail:

  • Covering material

The fuselage was designed by Steve Haley and was aimed at the F3-RES /F5L-RES competition pilots. There is no requirement for a plan to construct this fuselage as we provide full building guidelines via email.
