BLACK MAGIC was first published in the September 1947 Aeromodeller and has been a firm favourite of thousands of sport fliers ever since. Its success is due to its good looks, clean lines, and snappy, reliable performance. Fred Hempsall's 1947 plan for a 60-inch sport model was redesigned for RC flying in the August 1956 Aeromodeller.

  • 6 x Fuselage formers cut from 3.0 Liteply

  • 11 x Fuselage formers cut in 1.5mm & 2.4mm balsa

  • Nose block & Dihedral template & Actuator mount cut in 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • 8 x tailplane & rudder tips and TE cut in 2.4mm balsa

  • 2 x motor mounts cut in 3.0 liteply (laminated to achieve 1/4 ply)

  • No plan included. This is not a complete kit
