Ace RC 'Tigerkitten E' laser-cut parts set.

Tigerkitten is a very pretty and popular 54” span electric sports model of the 1990’s designed by Bob Benjamin. Some parts are duplicated to provide a cheaper and more accurate material cut - viz 3/16” is built from 1/8” + 1/16” etc. The pack includes a few minor modifications - mainly in the firewall area to accept a modern brushless motor. 

This is a particularly difficult set of parts to cut by hand for this classic Ace RC aircraft.

  • 22 x wing ribs laser-cut in hand-selected 1.5mm Balsa

  • All wing ribs are cut with pop-out servo cable holes and vent holes to prevent film ’ballooning’

  • 17 fuselage formers & tail fins laser-cut in 1.5mm hand-selected balsa

  • 20 gussets cut in 1.5mm balsa

  • 8 assorted parts cut in 3.0mm balsa

  • 6 fuselage formers cut in 3mm lit ply

  • 3 x ply wing braces + 1 former laser-cut in 1.5mm aircraft ply

  • Templates to produce the laminated wing/stab/fin outlines.

  • No building plan is included. This is not a complete kit
